Can I have a Lifetick Coach account and my own Lifetick account?
Yes, when you sign up for Lifetick Coach you are automatically given a full Lifetick account for your personal use free of charge. Furthermore, you can use the same log in details for each account. Simply log into https://www.lifetick.com/app for Lifetick.
What happens to my existing Lifetick account if I sign up for a Lifetick Coach account?
If you use a different email address, then nothing will happen. You can continue to use the accounts separately as different users. However, if you create a Lifetick Coach account with the same email as your Lifetick account you will be given the option to merge the accounts such that you have the same log in details for both. Subscribers to Lifetick Coach are entitled to their own full version Lifetick account. Be aware that any existing subscription to Lifetick will be surrendered and it will now be part of your subscription to Lifetick Coach. Remember to log into https://www.lifetick.com/coach for Lifetick Coach and https://www.lifetick.com/app for Lifetick.
If I cancel my subscription to Lifetick Coach, what will happen to the clients' data?
Clients will be notified of your decision and will be given the opportunity to transfer their individual accounts to Lifetick. Therefore, they will be able to continue using the software as per normal, but without any coach functionality
Am I locked into a contract?
No, each account is managed month to month and can be cancelled at any time. Once this happens, payments will no longer be drawn from your PayPal account.
Can I upgrade or downgrade my account?
Yes, at any time. If you upgrade, your user count will immediately reflect the new amount, but if you downgrade, users won't be reduced until the end of that month's milling period.
How do I delete my account and cancel my subscription?
Simply go to your Lifetick account page and click "Delete account". You will be then redirected to PayPal where you can log in and cancel the subscription.
Do upgrades take effect immediately?
Yes. As soon as the upgrade process is complete in PayPal, you will immediately be able to manage the number of users in that plan. You will not be charged the higher price though until your next monthly bill is due.
Do downgrades take effect immediately?
Yes. As soon as the downgrade process is complete in PayPal, you will immediately be restricted to the lesser number of users in that plan. You will not be charged the lower price though until your next monthly bill is due.
Do users have to buy a Lifetick account as well?
No. By purchasing Lifetick Coach, you will be able to provide your clients with their own Lifetick account. Therefore, do not need to purchase their themselves.
Why do I have to delete my subscription to PayPal before changing to a new plan?
This is because PayPal does not allow increments of more than 20% in subscription price changes. Therefore, the simplest way to ensure you can immediately move to the plan you want is to first cancel your existing subscription and then create a new one. rest assured though, we will guide you every step of the way.
Can a user change his/her email address?
Yes. They can update this from their Account screen. The changes will automatically update your account.
Can I as coach update a user's email address?
Yes. But please be aware that this will change their log in. Therefore, please ensure you make your client aware of this when you do it.
If someone has a Lifetick account, can they then become a client under my Lifetick Coach account?
Yes. But this requires a manual change at our end. Please advise us if you wish this to happen. Furthermore, we will require an email from that user consenting to the change using the same email address as the one they presently log into Lifetick with. If the user is on the full version of Lifetick then he/she will be surrendering the remainder of his/her subscription. Moving under a coach will retain their functionality, but he/she will be under the coach's plan. All of the user's data will become visible to the coach.
What payment methods do you accept?
You must have a PayPal account to pay for Lifetick Coach. However, you can top up your account via credit card if this is your preferred method.
Can I use Lifetick Coach with a friend so we can see each others goals?
No. Lifetick Coach is not designed for this purpose. It follows a strict mentor-protege relationship.
Will I able to see all of my clients’ data that they enter into Lifetick?
Not all. Clients are provided with the ability to create goals and journal entries that can be marked "private". This data is only viewable by them. All other information and non private goals and journal entries will be viewable to the Coach.
How can I communicate with my clients using Lifetick Coach?
Lifetick Coach allows you to send messages to individuals, groups or your entire user base of clients through the links on the right hand side of each screen. This will send an email with the message and will also put the message into the client(s)' journal for future reference at their end. Clients can also send messages back to you through the same facility. Your messages will be received by email and also recorded on your messages screen
When I send a message to a client or group through Lifetick, how do they receive it?

What happens if I no longer have a client?
You can choose to delete that client and then that person is may continue separately using Lifetick. Whenever a client is deleted, your tally of available users will increase by one.
How do user accounts work?
User counts represent the number of active users you have created for Lifetick Coach. Each of these is given a log in to their own version of Lifetick which you can access to monitor. Each plan specifies the number of users you are permitted. Your version of Lifetick is not included in this count. Should you delete a user, then you will have one extra account available to assign to another user.
What will my clients see when I create an account for them?
An email is sent to your client with instructions on how to use Lifetick and also his/her unique login details. This message will appear as if it was sent by you. To view the standard message click here
What is the purpose of groups?
Groups allow you to organise your clients/users for better communication. Lifetick Coach has a function where you can send a message to an entire group. This may be a type of client, group of employees or students of a class. You can also filter on groups when viewing the snapshot screen.
Why can't I update my clients' goals?
Lifetick Coach follows a strict philosophy of only allowing clients to update their own goals and journals because this places the onus on them to achieve their goals. Whenever someone else enters information or takes steps on your behalf, it removes you ever so slightly from "owning" that activity. Therefore, we provide the messaging service for coaches to motivate clients without going too far in having them write goals themselves. Furthermore, the act of checking of completed goals is a rewarding one and one that will encourage clients in their pursuit of their goals.
Will I be able to see all of my clients's activities in Lifetick Coach?
No. Your clients have the ability to indicate whther a goal or journal entry is private. If they choose to select this option then the goal is hidden from the coach's view. This encourages clients to use Lifetick to its full extent therefore promoting self honesty and recording everything important to them. It is then up to them what they choose to reveal to you.
Can I change the group names after they have been created?
Yes. These can be changed at any time. Furthermore, clients don't need to belong to a group.
Do you have a web app version of Lifetick Coach for iPhone or Android?
Not yet. We may look to add this for coaches in the future though. Currently, clients (of coaches) can still use the current web app versions for viewing their own goals and journalling.
