Can I sign up for the FREE version and upgrade later?
Yes. You can upgrade anytime you like. Try the product for as long as you like if you want to make sure it's the right thing for you. Then simply go into the Account page and upgrade there. Upon upgrading, you will see a whole new range of functionality including Journal, Status and unlimited goals.
What features do I get for the FULL version of Initiate?
Firstly, you will have unlimited goals. This means you can set and manage as many as you like. Secondly, you will gain access to the Journal, which will allow you to keep a diary or simply track when actions are performed within Lifetick - e.g. goals being entered or achieved, tasks entered or achieved and log in dates and times. All this information is captured automatically and displayed in the Journal so it is hassle-free for you. Simply focus on entering any thoughts or inspirations along the way. Finally, you'll receive access to the widget screen which allows you to choose which widgets you'd like to display. These have been designed to give you snapshots of your goal setting and include such things as Upcoming Tasks, Overdue Tasks, Goal Countdown Timer, Inspirational Quotes, Activity Graph and much more. Visit our Tour page to get a view of these and other features.
Does Lifetick capture my Journal history if I choose to upgrade later?
Yes. Even though users of the FREE version do not have access to the Journal or the Status page widgets, Lifetick is still collecting this information and time-stamping it for you. That way, you never need to worry about whether it is captured. If you decide to purchase the FULL version, all your history is there. Also, should your FULL version ever expire and you go back to the FREE version for awhile, the information will continue to be captured.
How do you calculate time zones?
This is determined by your system time on your computer. If you keep this up to date, then so too will Lifetick's dates and times for goal and task setting and reminders being sent.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept Visa, Mastercard and PayPal.
How do I know my credit card information is secure?
For all transactions, we use a PayPal payment gateway. This is because PayPal is a respected and trusted brand around the world. PayPal maintains the highest levels of security around their transactions. Furthermore, we do not capture or store any of our users' credit card information in Lifetick.
Will anyone be able to see my goals and journal entries?
Not at all. The security of your information is our imperative. Furthermore, we want you to feel peace of mind as Lifetick becomes a part of your daily life.
Am I able to export my Journal data?
Absolutely. We know it's important for people to not feel tied to a product. If for any reason you choose to stop using Lifetick, then we provide an export function of the Journal from the Journal screen either as xml or as text.
How do I see high priority goals?
Go to your Navigate screen. Click "more…" below the core value pie chart. You will see two more pie charts displayed - Due Date and Priority. Simply click on the "High" piece of pie in the Priority chart to filter the view in your list.
How do I see goals that are due soon?
Go to your Navigate screen. Click "More…" below the core value pie chart. You will see two more pie charts displayed - Due Date and Priority. Simply click on the piece of pie in the Due Date chart to filter by that period. They include "0-1 Month", "1-6 Months", "6-12 Months" and "12 Months +". You can also filter by overdue goals.
How can I set up a recurring task?
Simply enter a task for a goal, but set your reminder to the frequency of your task's recurrence - daily, weekly, fortnightly or monthly. Once all the recurrences are finished you can mark that task as complete.
How do I see tasks in the Navigate screen?
Simply click on the down arrow in the blue box of the goal you wish to view. All active tasks will appear in a drop down below the goal.
What is a fortnight?
For our American friends, a fortnight means two weeks. Therefore, if you set a fortnightly email reminder it will come every two weeks.
Why is my core value colour grey?
This is because you have goals attached to a core value that you have previously deleted. All you need to do is reassign those goals to new core values and the grey will disappear.
Why don't you display the task or goal name in the subject line of the reminder emails?
We know from our own experience, that goals can be very personal. Therefore, we'd prefer to be prudent and only display important information in the body of your email message as opposed to your subject line where it might be inadvertently seen by a colleague or friend if your have your email inbox open. We do distinguish in the subject line what type of reminder it is you are receiving.
What happens if I don't renew my FULL account?
Not much of consequence. You will revert to a FREE account and will no longer have access to Status and Journal. If you have more than four active goals, you will only be able to access the first four entered that are still active. Don't worry, no information is deleted and time stamping will still capture important achievements. You will just need to renew your account to restore full functionality.
Will I get reminders if I have an overdue goal or task?
Yes. But we don't like to be invasive. If you have an overdue goal, you will be sent a reminder one week after it is due. If you have an overdue task, you will be sent a reminder one day after it is due. Given each task has it's own user defined reminders, we'd rather you determine how often you need to hassle yourself to get them done.
Will I lose my goals if I delete my core values?
No. Your core value colour for the goals will change to GREY. Then what you should do is go into the goal screen to reassign that goal to another core value.
